If they are 5 days old and fraying bad enough for the lady to think they aren't working how can it put them back 6 months? If Kelsey wants results a little quicker then a crochet hook is better than anything else right?

I now people dont like the crochet hook but it is useful to keep them tight. May be worth a look. But do research first (trying to be impartial). And beads I use flymo off eBay, get 5 colours for quite cheap and make hundreds of beads.

I think its one of those spend your life looking for the perfect blossom things. Once its driven you completely insane you will realise they are all perfect. All individual, all perfect, but loops do drive me crazy. Damn things look mental some times. Means you can wear cool beads and wraps.

Don't know if people think I am more attractive but I get more compliments about my dreads than I did with kidney length straight blonde hair.

our uniform policy says no vivid colours and no extreme hairstyles. I have asked my 2 bosses what they think an extreme hairstyle is and the instantly said mohawk or undercut, but neither have said yes its ok. Always have to ask a higher boss.

That's really good to hear. I was expecting more negatives about dreads but only recieved positive so far. Just occasionally I think society might becoming tolerant. You sound a busy person, what type of band do you sing in?

I am a registered nurse. I had to ask permission from my dept sister, sister, matron, head of nursing and the director of nursing before someone finally made a decision. Luckily I was stood next to my African boss with her weave of 2 foot plaids. She just said how the hell can I say no! 2 days later my little fellas were born. Had nothing but compliments about them.
