loops lumps kinks and zig zags in dreadlocks

Dread Maintenance

Flat dreads are totally normal. It happens from sleeping a lot on that spot, tying hair back tight, etc. If you want them more round try a bread, peyote stitch, or maybe make a quick hair wrap :)

What about flats? A few of my remaining congo nubs get crap talked by these roo-dreads, i think its a fashion thing but i dig the little beav' tails.

loops lumps kinks and zig zags in dreadlocks

Dread Maintenance

At two years now, a lot of my loops and whatknot ;D have settled down. the neglect ones (also the youngest ones I have,) still have some loops going. However the older ones are just lumps and bumps. :) Your going to miss your massive one and a half inch loops sticking off your locks, trust me. Loops get sucked in eventually, and ihave proof! :) ^^ Those loops use to be HUGE! Can you see them all sucked in now? :)

Lockin up liquid safe for mature dreads?

Dread Products

Yup should be fine. My dreads are at two years and I mostly use the bars, but I do use the liquid every now and then for all my loose baby hairs. :)

Having issues Updating Timeline..Help?

General Questions

I was trying to update my timeline and add some recent photos, but whenever I do they go all the way to the very top of the post and I cant drag them to the bottom. I recently had to get my computer fixed, and when bestbuy gave it back the mouse no longer works, thank god its a touch screen. Any tips for the Photo issue?? I actually felt like updating, for once in my life, and now I cant! The irony! x)

My TnR/Neglect Timeline :D

Member Journals and Timelines

that's soawesome! Pretty much thet same way for me also! I only did about a row a month though, to get my mom use to it. Did about 4 or 5 rows TnR,and let the rest go on its own. :)

You have such beautiful locks!!!!!!!! I helped my friend do what you did. I first gave her one row of t&r locks...a few days later she had me put in another row, and a week later a couple more rows. She only wanted dreads underneath with loose hair on top. After a while, though, her hair wanted to dread so badly, she gave into the process and let the rest of her hair dread naturally. Her neglect ones formed and matured quickly, too!

I love your journey!
