I need an idea of how to put my hair up for homecoming! My dress is strapless so i might want to put it in a bun, or half up and down but a cool look. Anyone have any youtube videos or good ideas?

So im 6 and 8 months into my dread journey and i love it. But the annoying thing is hearing crap from my family. Its always they look like crap or get them professionally done or blah blah take them off you're not pretty anymore. Even my mom says that. They are looping alot and i have no problem with that they are doing their own thing and my dreads have taugh me alot of patience. But its just so annoying hearing it every day. I just got a job at mcdonalds and theyre telling me it wont last long and im graduating high school next year and they said for prom im going to look really bad. It just gets really anoyying.
so im 3 months into my twist and rip dreads, yay! But i read about it having a braided look sometimes and my smaller ones have that im just wondering when will that go away? No rush but just curious. My roots are pretty rounded and locked but the ends of my hair are looser. the picture is mt dreads at 2 months and idk if you can notice the braided look sorry for the blurry picture
So my hair is growing and that means i need to update my roots, which ive never done so i dont know how i heard you can just rub it against your head to create knots?
I could really care less about what other people think of whats on my head cause its on my head and not yours, but im always getting told that i'll never find a boyfriend with dreads, im more of a my own slef person so im not focused or care about relationships cause school is more important, im just tired of always getting told im not carrying out the traditional female look & the femininity that a female is supposed to have. And i have taken away my prettyness. But im more happy about my looks that ive ever been, everyone is telling me that this hair style is just a phase, and even if it was it shouldnt matter cause im happy. How do you other girls deal with this criticism? Especially from family and friends?
yeah shes speaking spanish in alot and she just still wont listen im about to move in with my dad my dad loves them! she says if i dont have it off by friday shes gunna take me to the salon and force to shave my head

i had two beads in that dread and i didnt take my bead out to wash my hair and i guess so shampoo got stuck in it that was when i was using pantene shampoo but now i use this other one thats really good and i was thinking bleaching my dreads?

So i just noticed that the one dread thats on top of my ear (sideburn area) the top part but not close to the root has residue and i dont want to cut it off! its one of my oldest, is there any where to clean it out good? And also i tired dying some dreads blonde and only tthe root changed and the dread stayed the same color?
