General Questions

I have chocolate peppermint tea..lmao. I just washed yesterday with BS/ACV. And I'm positive I rinsed it all out well..can't be bugs. I'd notice and I'd be hysterical LOL. Maybe it's sweat. I tried rinsing it ad it feels a bit better

ITCHY ITCHY OMG

General Questions

My head is freaking ITCHY and I'm helpless. It's 11:00 at night and I have no tea tree or rosemary oil. I'm broke for at least another week. I seriously want to take a hairbrush to my scalp and scratch the shit out of it lmao. Is there anything i can find in my house to battle the itchies?!

Dreads and the Ocean

General Questions

Lmfao yeah watch out for frisky octopus!!! But definitely give it a rinse after. Crusty ocean hair isn't pleasant. But it's super beneficial to younger locks. Just as long as it gets rinsed well. I do a bs rinse after cause I find water doesn't get it out for me

Losing length?

General Questions

Okay cause I have a few sections at the back that keep knitting together and I have to keep separating them lol and as soon as I do an hour later they're back together. Maybe I'll just let them they seem to really enjoy each others company lol

Losing length?

General Questions

So I'm on like day 6 now of natural dreads. I made a twist and rip one to see how it would make my scalp feel and to see how much it would shrink cause im worried about losing too much length. My hair is about an inch short of being half way down my back. Do natural dreads shrink as much as tnr ones do? And I imagine just because natural dreads are a longer process my hair will have time to grow more before becoming actual dreads right? Also when should I start section ing? I've been trying to keep the sections as sections but they keep getting all tangled together. Do I just let them for now?

Quick question(s)

Dread Maintenance

I would rinse lake water for sure Eugh lol. I could see that smelling pretty musty. I rinsed out ocean water the other day cause my hair was literally crusty LOL. But ocean water I've found speeds up the process quite a lot. And the shower head I noticed (on me) seems to undo knots so I started swishing my head in a bathtub or sink of water
