you should be able to easily tell if 6 was nowhere near enough then try 10-12  if that's too much try 8

1 drops next to nothing ..with essential oils 1  drop of cinnamon oil is enough for 2 batches of cinnamon cookies they are very strong but  carrier and conditioning oils 1 drops nothing a 1/4 teaspoon to a gallons a good fairly strong  conditioner i sometimes us a full teaspoon

depends on the oil and amount of hair i use like a 1/4 teaspoon about

so experiment  for conditioner oils 3 drops wont do much of anything  remember you want it spread throughout your hair so try 8-0 try 15-20  etc start lower work up till it seems  nearly too much then back off a little

best way i found is add a very lil bit to a whole lot of water

pour over head wait 1-3 minutes then partially rinse

meaning give a quick spray to remove any excess and spread it through your dreads but don't rinse thoroughly cause you want to leave some in

you can sorta feel when you used too much or have to rinse more

interlock can do that but generally will be small areas near the roots  like an inch

dryness feels both dry and hard..buildup can cause hardness but usually in larger ares like 4-6 inches same as dryness

condition as needed i often condition many washes in a row till i got too much loose hairs then switch to the liquid to dry and uincrease dreading..but i like mine soft

yiu can as often as you want but if its  no longer dreading then stop

Soaring eagle,

Thank you for being so patient with me and all of my questions. I am wondering if this is normal? A few pieces have looped back on themselves and around 6 inches shorter.

awe awesome! The loopy stage is so fun! Looks good! :D

Soaring Eagle,

Hello! I hope all is well. I have a new question.

Would criss crossing some of my dreads in hemp hinder the locking process? Thank you

no, like beads it may help

Soaring Eagle,

Update on this shampoo...

This is making my hair tangle like crazy (which I guess is a good thing). I keep having to separate my dreads more than I have thus far. Also, I have a little dandruff now. I have some tea tree oil. I've heard this can help. What application do you recommend?

Wow, must have missed this when the site wasn't sending emails..if its over dreading and over drying switch to the bars now and then... the teatree bars

theres a teatree liquid i think right..i rarely use liquid but when i do its nag champa

but if your separating daily use the bars  only liquid when you want to speed it up a lil
