Lol, I am not use to taking pictures without straightening my hair, so I am a bit nervous, since my hair is nothing like in my photos.

Lol, I would but that would require me to sneak into my mom's room and get hers...that is a dangerous thing to do when she is asleep. Lol. I will take pictures tomorrow. I wish I had my camera, but I lost it, or it got stolen. D:

Well, it has been like what two weeks since I have started the natural method, and so far I have 8 dreads that have sectioned off, matted up and then turned into dreadlocks. Last step for them to lock up. I have 2 twists and rips that I did for the giggles of it. I have the perfect dreading hair. It started to mat up literally over night. I will post pictures whenever I get a hold of a camera. But I am super excited. I still have more than half my hair that need to section, mat, and dread. Super excited!

Welcome! I have been on my natural journey like a week or two and I already have 5 dreads forming! I love your dreads!

Dreads shouldn't harm you. Just keep them clean and maybe pull them back or whatever your future job may require! ^_^ Sadly I am unemployed, but my mom gives me money for taking care of her so it works out. Plus it is hard to work with a bad neck and chronic migraines.
This is the best dread web site, I am grateful to find you all.

Ticks!!!
Dreads Hair and Scalp Health
I live in the middle of the woods, and I never had a tick. Be careful with ticks though my cousin got a tick and then she contracted Lyme disease and swelled up 3 times her size.
