21 months timeline neglect

Hello...I am at 21 months of neglect from shaved head...And its a big mess there....but i like them a lot...do i have to put any beads or leave them alone...the only thing i do until know is wash every 3 days and seperate so i can avoid the big loops..the dread journey is fantastic and im so happy cause in the begging everybody couldnt believe that they will dread alone without crocheting etc...it took me 15 months to see the first loop and know all my hair are knotting up very quickly...and dont forget that i have straight caucasian hair...So for everybody out there...Be patience...eventually they will lock..

And the dreadlock bars did all the job...the liquid didnt work for me....

hello everybody...i am so happy cause after 15months of patience (yes it was really hard in the beginning)i have my 1st knot...i started from scratch (shaved head) and at 12months i cut my hair and i left only in the back of my head hoping for the miracle...i was so disappointed and had tried everything...my hair was awful thats why i cut them and left it only at the back....i also ordered from dreadlocks shampoo a shampoo and the gel...nothing for the 2 first months...So last month i decided to use the soap from dreadlockshampoo and not the liquid and everyday i was spraying with sea salt twice a day...oh my god finally....My 1st knot found it yesterday,,my hair feels great and i am super happy...The Soap and the seasalt made miracles although the site says is for mature dreads the soap bar,,for me worked 10 times better from liquid.....SO STAY PATIENCE THEY WILL KNOT EVENTUALLY......MY JOURNEY JUST STARTED!!!!!!!

hello everyone...ive been doing 6 years the crocheting method until i found this site...in one month reading all the informations i cut my crochet dreads...ive had partial dreads around 9 at the back-top of my head...

that was 14 months ago....from that i moment I've chosen the neglect method trying every shampoo dr bronzers BS ACV dreadlockshampoo (that is great) and nothing has happened...not even one knot...then i realized that my hair has become very thin....i was thinking of cutting them again and start over...considering that i am 14 months now from stop crocheting i hope in 1-2 years more they will be thicker...do you think cutting them again very short will strength my hair?

Life Issues Facing Dreads

I become very sad when i hear situations like yours...I am with you and pray for something good to happen to you and change your life....

3 years ago my dad caught from the police for drag deal and now he is in jail for life....i have 2 sisters separate from their husbands with 1 kid each and a mother who is not very well in her mind...My sisters don't work and i am the only one who works and try to keep my family....

What i want to say is that my life is so Stressful that for about 6 months i had very often panic attacks..

The only thing that helped a lot and drugs free was HOMEOPATHY...changed my life and now i feel that my batteries are full and i have the strength to help my family!!!

I Hope for you the BEST AND ALL THE POSITIVE ENERGY I CAN GIVE YOU...

Hello..I am in my 10 months progress natural method from shaved...

I used to wash with the BS and white vinegar for all that time...

unfortunately nothing had happened(not even one knot) till some days ago i changed to dr bronzers with sea salt added in the bottle.

1st off all i must say that my hair are oily....

Now after 2 weeks of this shampoo mix my hair stopped to be oily and looks frizzy...

i think thats good...Or it isn't?it looks like that now they are not oily are gonna make knots...

Am i right?

one question...how you wash with these bars cause i only have used liquid shampoo...

do you rubber it to your head?

is it ok for us who don't have dreads still?i mean is it ok for not unknot the hair?
