I know my buddy up the street has water with lots of Iron in it and it'll turn his sinks and toilet and shower brown. but ours is different ours turns kinda blueish. we get our water from a spring. Its not well water but its spring water. There is a bottling company that actually uses water from this spring. Not sure if its hard water though
