spiders in dreads?

Dread Products

I def think the story about spiders in dreads is a crock but i do believe alot of "Spider Facts" and just because 1 website says its a myth (with no research or anything included) i will believe the 100's (with facts and info) that say they are correct.

But yeah spiders in dreads sounds like a crock of shiznit lol

spiders in dreads?

Just googled it like you said bro & it says pretty close to the EXACT same thing to what i said so maybe YOU need to google it....

Brandon Arnold said:

Dude, spiders don't even crawl into your mouth. If you google it, you'll find out it's a stupid misnomer/urban legend. How can spiders be that dumb to just crawl into an open hole and get swallowed? They're pretty intelligent. I mean, look at how complex their webs are!! And honestly, there are no set numbers on how many people "eat" them. It always varies. And who even made up that statistic? Who watched all those people for months at a time all night? It makes no sense...can't be legitimate.

But no, I have never ever heard of this problem before. I'm not afraid of them, but I certainly wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like someone was just trying to fuck with you,

spiders in dreads?

Dread Products

the avg person swllows 7 spiders a yr while sleeping, has 12 spiders crawl in their ear while sleeping, is never more than 2 feet from a spider at all times, has thousands of spiders living in their home. I was a horrible archniphobe until i learned these facts and strangly they have helped me to somewhat (not fully) shake my fear of them....

State Of Mizzouri (Tuck's Dreads)

Introduce Yourself

Thanks for the advice everyone! I did the Baking Soda wash & i feel so much better & my hair is not oily at all anymore A couple of the "dreads" loosened some but for the most part they stayed in place. & everything ive done are only things ive found on this site I learned quickly that tons of people who have products to sell or alterier motives will tell you anything, But the pople here are real & care about your dreads & you doing the best/right thing.& people stare at me anyway...Im 6'5, 225, & dress, act, etc. unlike most so stares dont bother me I learned yrs ago if people stare its just because im doing my own thing (in fact they probaby wish they could do their own thing to & are jealous lol)Once again thanks allTuck1LUV

State Of Mizzouri (Tuck's Dreads)

Introduce Yourself

Whats up everyone. My name is Tuck & im new to the dread community But i do want to thank you for the amazing advice on these forums! Thanks to all of you I didnt use any of the DDHQ or alternative products as others i know in the past have(& they always wondered why their dreads got F'ed up).I have went a much more natural route & besides back combing am staying pretty natural with my dread adventure. I used 100% pure Aloe Vera Gel the first 2 days & am using Sea Salt & Purified water spray once or twice a day for tightening. Other than that just rolling & twisting & letting "nature" take its course.I do have a few questions though. My hair is very wavey & honestly knots pretty easily so i think my dreads will come in very nice BUT my hair gets oily very easily. I am trying not to wash for the first week to two weeks to get them started good but my hair is getting a little oily & im 3 days in...What can i do about this? Some one throw me some advice please, i would greatly appreciate it.Also what is the recipe for dread juice & is it really good for new dreads? Any way thanks & check out my photos of my dreads 3 days in & let me know what you think & if the are coming in nicely! :) Oh i also removed the rubberbands from the base this morning...Is that good?Check me out (Rock/Hiphop) at www.reverbnation.com/stateofmizzouri or www.myspace.com/stateofmizzouri for songs, live videos & give aways (New songs from my new album "This State Of Misery" up very soon!)

Flirting with the idea of cutting ,y hair.

Introduce Yourself

& by no means am i bashing anyones decision but it may be as SE said that you ar seeking a change & the first thing you think when that happens is the easiest to change, Your Hair. But maybe its a deeper thing that needs changed, far beneath your hair or your exterior For me that was some sobriety. For you it may be something diff I only mention my story because of the fact that you mention trying to stay sober & if thats where your heart is & the change that is needed lies you always have a friend in me for help in that area!
