A phrase I thought of I would like to share...
General Talk
Haha glad people like it hihi
'The beautiful thing about dreadlocks is that even when everyone would have them, you'd still be unique.'
It's been 8 months since i was last on the forum, so i thought i would give a little update
It's not worth creating a new thread for imo, so i just continue in my old one. I tnr'd all my dreads 6 months ago, and they're coming very well now. Until now i have been to busy/lazy to come on the forums, but anyway here's how they're now.
I normally wear some sort of headband but at home i just have em loose
A little 3 month-ish update, it seems actually a bit better on the pictures than it is.
I have a few knots forming in the back of my hair but in the front i feel little or no progress, it seems like my hair resections itself again everytime i wash it. :/
Hi everyone
2 months ago i discovered this site and started dreading, but i didn't took the effort to register.I'm 17y old guy from Belgium i'm in last year of high school, i like listening/playing music drummin playing some games..
I wanted dreads for some time already, now looked up on it and decided to go natural (have 1 small backcombed in the back of my hair tho). I only wash with Dr Bronner like every 5-7 days for the rest I do nothing except a wool scarf over my pillow
I'm almost 2 months far i'm adding some crappy webcam pictures just to give an idea (:
Best to all of you hope i enjoy my stayin here (:
cheers
Yep crocheted
It may sound a bit strange but i think that the fact that she is just a child plays a role in the beauty of her dreads. She doesn't think: "let's not comb my hair!". She propably doesn't think about her hair at all, which makes it even better :D
You just can't imagine how jealous i am of her dreads )
This is a picture taken in 2007 when I was there, so she must be ~11years old now. Don't really have alot of contact though :/
I don't really know how long she had them on this picture, but i belive around 3 years. They were made crocheting in some touristic littly city in an eastern european country they went on holiday to. She never did something special, just wash with regular shampoo
I promised i would send them a picture whenever i would get my dreads but haven't done that yet and i have them for 2 1/2 months already :$
My grandniece who lives in Switzerland. She's 7 on this picture.
I liked dreads before. But when I was in Switzerland with my dad, who was visiting his niece, I was sure i had to get dreadlocks! She's my biggest inspiration )
