So, you always hear how dreads are a journey, whether it is through spiritual, personal reflection, etc. I was just curious what truths you all have found while traveling on your journey. How have you changed? For me my path has led me into a more personal relationship with God, having previously been raised catholic but never really took it seriously. I have also had a greater sense of value for nature and our planet, as well as myself in general.
Once again, feel free to share your experiences that you have faced along your journey.

well personally I shave because my facial hair is still kind of splotchy and dirty looking haha. But I do know that once it is ready I'm definitely going to have a beard
split roots
Help! Save My Dreads
Hey guys and gals. So I am a wee bit past 2 months in, and some of my baby dreadies have splits in the roots. They are mostly split into two sections at the root. I was wondering about what my options are to do with these and what consequences they will have.

Hey guys/gals.Sooo I'm starting to crochet my first tam (yay!) but I am having a bit of trouble. the pattern starts with a slip ring, and then 15 double crochet loops. i can't seem to grasp how to keep the free end of the slip ring away from the loops, and it always seems to get tangled up.if some of you with crochet experience can help me out i would greatly appreciate it.thanks!
