want the tips to dread

Dread Maintenance

yea, getting to that point where its not enough,i wanna dread the tips a bit so they don't look outta place (to me) anymore, looking for the best way to do that... any ideas, on how to help them dread up a bit?

still haven't decided on blunt ends or pointyends, lead me one way or another!!!!

lol just want my dreads to look better (if its possible)

congragulations on deciding to dread your hair, i did the neglect method, 100% and couldn't be happier, there were a few groups of hair,mainly around the bangs, that did not dread, so i went for the TnR method recently (last week) and it seems to be doing good. enjoy the journey, it gets pretty exciting...

if your thinking about going pure neglect, i would suggest washing your hair 1-3 times a week as SE said, but try to keep your fingers from accidently pulling knots out, you gotta watch your hands when your watching t.v. you can start to un dread your hair pretty easily if your bored... but enjoy the journey...

ok, heres the deal.... i did the pure neglect thing too, and the first bit SUCKS... then as you let them do their thing, they look better, then look better, then look even better, then one day your walking through the mall and someone goes: "i love your hair". then you look in the mirror in the nearest clothing store and say to yourslef: hmm... maybe its not as bad as i thought. then they mature and your laughing at the doubts you had... simple as that! and then people tell you to never cut it! so DON"T GIVE UP
