I hate to say but there is so much wrong with religion. In it's purist form religion is a great idea. It gives youpurposeto life, whether your are aChristian,BuddhistMuslimor spiritual believer it is there for good. It's a belief we have to push us to become the best person we can be. One could argue that religion is there to set yourself goals andboundarieswhich we all have in our lives. It's a shame people choose to abuse the purist form of all religion. I'm going to throw it out there, and feel free to correct me but I don't believe there has ever been a religion created to harm other people. And what these priests are doing makes me sick. It's hurtful and it needs to stop.
I'm a true spiritual believer and I believe that we can shape this world to be humane, compassionate and loving! Talking about current issues like these are essential to get our words out.

You totally need to ask yourself the question. Do I want dreads? At the end of the day it's your decision, your life andinevitablyyou'll end up making the right decision for yourself. Dreads should be a fun process. You can either accept that your family isn't happy with them and go along with your dreading giving you ounces of happiness or you can wait for a while until things settle and you're able to do them without consent.
