Burt's Bees Conditioners

I'm really sorry if you guys interpreted what I said as being hateful but I'd have to say I think that is kind of ridiculous. Next time I just won't bother trying to get information in these forums.

5 months in my friend had me use this special organic conditioner, he has dreads and swears by the stuff. 5 of my tighter dreads unraveled! Save your dreads! Don't condition!

You can be sure next time I won't bother asking/making a thread (:

Surprisingly unhelpful forum response

so would've i -- Yes, one of the purposes of this site is to gather insight from users' personal anecdotes. Biz responded with hers, and you responded negatively. So why bother asking if you're expecting a certain answer? Lose the attitude, I'm sure you'll make more friends that way :)

Thanks both of you! When my locks are older I'll compare Kiss My Face conditioner and Burt's Bees and make a post about results/differences. (:

....I did not get upset because I thought Biz was being rude. I got annoyed because her response was generally inane to the question I was asking.

@fancyAmanda Another inane criticism... Isn't one of the purposes of using these forums to gather insight from other users' personal anecdotes? Sorry lol that I perceive it as perfectly fair to expect a specific type of response that pertained to what I was asking.

Hi so would've! Ya know, I have been on this site almost a year and I find so much of how we perceive a response is in our own head. Sometimes, we are feeling unsure and so we assume the other person is being rude to us, when infact, they aren't. It is so difficult to get the right intent and tone off of a posted message. I know that I have been misunderstood here before...so, don't be so quick to get upset. I find most people here to beof a loving nature <3 Have a beautiful day...much love.

Burt's Bees Conditioners

....I've been on this site for months, I've read that thread a few times. If you don't know anything about a product other than that it is sold in a store.... you really can't make a judgment lol. The shampoo I use is organic, 100% natural, no artificial colors and no parabens etc. I've tried the baking soda wash and hated it lol.

It is frustrating that it's gotten to the point where I can't get serious advice on this site.. It's almost all exactly the same.

I've been using jojoba and aloe to condition but I was looking for something else.

Anybody on here use Burt's Bees conditioners?

Since my locks are just barely over five months, they're definitely not mature, but I literally never condition.

I was thinking about picking one of their conditioners to use once every 1.5-2 weeks. Any opinions?

The shampoo I am using every 3 or more days is Kiss My Face Anytime shampoo.

Misguided racism (well isn't it always?) towards caucasian dreadies...

General Talk

"Poising very quickly" ?? <--- what.

Anyway, I am so tired of common Western values being considered more valuable or more valid based on the fact that they're "agreed upon" by masses... Since when has that ever made something a "good" idea?

Also, 4-5 years really isn't that long ago lol

Cmon guys it's only a dude voicing HIS opinion! A right that we are poising very quickly in western society. I don't think he was particularly offensive just a tad misguided.

I'm White I have dreads they look a complete mess which is great lol. Live and let live my fellow dredies! Xx

Highly disgusted and disturbed with this article:

http://www.onthevergeofdatingwhitegirls.com/2006/03/white_people_we.html

I left a comment... but right now I just feel shaken and shocked and need to show this to you guys too because in my experience most of the people on this site are reasonable and good thinkers...

I don't know, I just woke up, and now feel completely exhausted after reading this. ):
