im not goin to lie my dreads are backcombed i didnt know any other way i had done several peoples hair this way.. after they were developed some i just started to leave them be i wash once a week and keep them seperated and theyve done fine.. i had dreads once before and they were done the same way and i had no problems i think you will be fine

i lost alot of length when i did my exboyfriends and his got shorter and shorter but then they eventually started to wiegh themselves down and round out his have gained almost half thier length back now.. as for the lopsided thing i have that too i have noticed its on the side i sleep on so i guess rollin around on it doesnt help

Life Issues Facing Dreads

wow i had heard something about this and thought surely it wasnt true.. my son is growing his hair out for dreads he made the decision himself and i support him..my mother made a comment about how they wouldnt allow it and i thought she was just bieng herself which i dont have to explain for you to understand im sure i am throughly dissapointed in the school systems in this state as a whole anyway even though i love louisiana and i am appalled allthough not suprised at this kind of behavior it will take everyone to stand up for thier rights as individuals to bring this repression to a halt i am def behind you on stopping this revolting opposition

ive cut my dreads off before and i never felt the same without them i had to wait two years for my hair to be long enough to restart and look right im really glad you found the site so you didnt make the same mistake i did
