Natural, taking ages

Dreading Methods

Hi I was just wondering why it is taking so long for my hair to knot up? I started naturally since mid February and have been washing with dr bronners liqud and bar soap. the hairs at the back have started to knot up but the hairs on the sides are just no knotting up, does anyone know why or if they will knot up naturally? its been 3-4 months and they are taking ages to loc up. any help would be appreciated xD

thanks

General Questions

I recently took my dreads out, andregrettedit after a few hours. I wanna get them again but this time i want to do it naturally but at the same time i want them now which i can't do if i go down the natural route. however im going to give it a few months and see if my hair starts to lock up.

how long do you guys think it should take for me to see some difference, and do you see any progress in these pictures for a week or 2? IMG_0791.JPG

General Questions

So, after 7 months of dreadlocks I combed them out and after less than 24 hours of taking them out I regret it. But now I am going to go natural but I lost loads of hair and the hair is pretty thin. I just wish to have the patience of natural, I know its gunna be messy but I guess they will look better as they will be natural.

Quick question though, do I need to trim my hair at all because I have taken all my dreads out?

Drying your Dreads...

Dread Maintenance

I know its not easy living in the UK with dreads...... your hair is gunna be wet for a bit but i still prefer letting the dreads dry themselves its more natural.....or sit right near a heater xD

Hello there

Introduce Yourself

Good to hear your going to go natural!!! the best thing to do is get the dr bronners tea tree oil shampoo its organic and great for your hair....people keep smelling my hair xD or get the bar soap from dr bronners.also remember to dilute the shampoo with 12 times more water, so if you use like a tenth of the shampoo mix it with 12 times amount that of water.hope this helped, gd luck dreading!!!
