are ur washing with baking soda and then separately rinsing with ACV? if u wash with bs first and then rinse with ACV the vinegar dissolves all the bs. chemical reaction, just like the volcanoes we all made as kids

on the knotty boy website they have a FAQ saying something like, "i cut open my one of my dreads and it was full of some nasty smelly sludge, is this normal?" and the response was, "of course this is normal. it doesnt matter whats on the insides of dreads just as long as the outside looks okay." WTF

u need the acv rinse after doing a baking soda wash. it replenishes the ph balance of ur scalp and dissolves and the baking soda. the chemical reaction on your scalp and hair are a necessary part of cleansing.

baking soda washing and acv rinsing cured mine and a friends dandruff completely. are u washing with baking soda and then rinsing with apple cider vinegar? dont mix em together defeats the purpose.

Dreading Methods

try to get those root flips out. when they grow out from the scalp the new growth wont lock and there will be a gap. in the early stages of my first set i did one root flip and it caused me much much trouble, the only thing u can do it undo the root flip. it will prolly cause damage but its much better than the consequences of root flippin, good luck

over twisting and over tightening dread roots can lead to premature baldness
