i dont usually mind but if its someone i dont know that didnt ask, it kinda weirds me out. but its usually drunk people. but i love it when im at work and all the kids love playing with my hair. theres one girl that will scream her little head off if i wear my hair up.

im glad i saw this discussion because today i worked an event for the health dept. Ive been working for them for a couple months but this was my first public event. And out of 350 people about 95% of them were African American. I was suprised at the reactions i was getting. sure there were some stares like "who does she think she is"? but i got alot of postive commets. I got more grief for my body mods but thats normal.

sleeping with dreads

i really dont have a problem when sleeping with them, although my bf always complains about how they poke him in the face. i dont think you have to worry much about em, they'll do what they wanna do. but i do have to say that the ones that i sleep on are kinda kinky but i think those ones are my fav. And i totally agree with soaring eagle, dreads really help me pack lite when i travel. thanks to my dreads, im always down to nap.
