How often and how do u wash your head ?

mostly it is about once a week sometimes it is upto 10 days at other times it is everyday it depends on what i have been doing. If I have been working in a sweaty dusty envoiment it is everyday if doing bookwork during cooler weather it can streech out ot 10days but try for at least once a week

thats what dreads do , it has a lot to do with hair type and methord used to start dread. the shrinkage can last 12 months (again everyone is different) while your hair knots up

It doesn't make alot of diffrence weather you rip your dreads when they are dry or wet. But it is offen easer to rip them just after they have been washed.
sleeping without any head covering: bad idea?

tried it when I started (was worried about new dreads) it lasted two night as it wouldn't stay on my head so throw it awayIt is not needed and it does nothing in helping your hair to dread
Split ends :-S cut or wait N dread?

By going neglect your hair will look like it is not growing for a while but it is, it is that your dreads are tighting all the time once your dreads start to form and get tighter then you will notice them gettin longer this may take some timeIf you were to brush out and grow your hair longer you would still be in the same perdicament or worse you see srinkage of your hair as it forms dreads( this is not a bad thing but is more noticable on peaple who start there dreads with longer hair)
