wool works because it grips the hair and causes friction. i wear acrylic tams too but the hair just glides over the fibers. won't help your hair knot but it won't hurt it either. i wear my wool tam to bed too. during the day i wear it lose when i'm home but if i go out i'll put on a scarf or throw on a tam.
u do need time loose plus all the time will result in a tam shaped dread haha
reads always look fuzzy up close
they are hair after all they dont stop being hair they just become matted hair

stage 3 shrinking tightening getting lil leeszs fuzzy and loopy
stage 4 settling down not goin throuhgh wild changes
stage 5 growing to the toes
but that may sound bad with all the worrying and all but you only have to worry..if you worry..if u dont worry a d accept the crazineess u learn to enjoy it
