why am I paranoid??

Introduce Yourself

i had the same when i started. i think it will be a little bit noticible when you're planning on maintain them. but when you're getting some loose hairs and bumps and everything it wouldn't be noticible. when i began the journey people commented me on the bald spots. but after 4 years you can't see it anymore. good luck with your journey anyways!

fluff in my blonde dreads

Dread Maintenance

I know how annoying it is, it still drives me crazy. What i do is once a month going trough all my dreads with a tweezer. Trying not to pull much hairs out, but i can't avoid it. I think it is more visable on blonde hair. Do you notice they're groing into your dread?

Same thing happens to me... I can't figure out how to get rid of it. When I try to take it out I pull out hairs too. Washing doesn't take it out of my hair. So it's just there.

fluff in my blonde dreads

Dread Maintenance

Hi guys, something i struggle with last times is plush (other word for fluff right?) in my blonde dreads. It comes from some clothes i wear, and if i'm not fast enough with taking it out, it grows into my dreads. Because i've blonde dreads you can see it. This is something what really frustrates me, i don't want to touch my dreads. My dreads are more than 3 years old, i have never had a problem with this in the past. Could it have to do something with the fact they getting older, so they attract more fluff because they're dry or something? And does someone over here have the same problems?~Namast

haha i only wash like twice a year! spring n fall. the 'dirty' feeling is just that. a feeling. a mental state. once u rise above that then it just feels natural not washing.

Please, wash when you feel like washing. Are you doing it the neglect way? my boyfriend does te same, and i've bought him some awesome shampoo. It really works. Mayb it would also work for your hair. It's called knotty boy shampoo bar (and no, normally i'm not a fan of knottyboy, but this is serious the SHIT), it's a block of soap. You can rub it on your head, wash your body with it, clean your clothes etc. It's very usefull for all kind of things (and completely natural). It make's your hair very messy, you can instantly feel it when your hair begins to dry. I would certainly recommend this to you, and to anyone who wants there hair to be messy :)
