change of mind and heart!

Introduce Yourself

aHello fellow dreaddies. I have had a change of heart. I tried to dread my hair naturally, but it was not working. Most of my hair was dreading and part of it was wild as a lion. I couldn't go on with the mismatched hair flop. The stylist I am seeing is wonderful and not expensive. She knows what she is doing, really taking care of my hair. I misjudged all lockticians and I m sorry.

Why is the community here so against maintained locs?

Dreading Methods

Thanks SE. These people don't care about you, they only want moolah and lots of it. I am so tired of being lied to by these folks. The last chick I went to is a racist and I cant tolerate her stupidity and negative energy. I am so glad to be done with these folks.

Dreading Methods

Each to his/her own, I experienced "fuckticians" who destroyed my hair. They took my money and put all kinds of crap in my hair. They promised me dreads and all I experienced nothing but heartache, contempt, hatred and broke pockets. I had to chop my hair off due to so-called lockticians. I lost hair and cash because of these lyingass people. I will try to form locks on my own, I admit I am concerned with what the outcome will be. I was told to twist my hair every two weeks, I think it is too much. I don't want alopecia and I am concerned with twisting.

loctician dreading techniques

salon and loctician dreads recovery

Hey dude,

Try not to feel bad, I am a victim of so-called lockticians too. They f my head up and took my money! I had a irritated scalp and I am allergic to beeswax. I was lied to by another salon who could fixthem--horsedoodoo! I want dreads, nice ones and was even considering going back to one. I noticed a lock forming in the back of my head--YAY! I am curious to see if my other hair will do the same. Hang in there. Oh yeah, I had to chop my hair---Lots! I cant wait for it grow long.
