I too have a problem with stink after i wash my hair , but not my scalp, my smell is more in the dreads. I suggest tea tree i've used it quit a few times and it has worked great for me. I just use a spray bottle with a few drops and mist my hair and then roll them a bit, maybe you could try this with your scalp? peace&love

Private Profiles???

if you think by having a private profile is going to keep you safe you've got another thing comin! and your judging commet... you can't even be judged on this forum especially because your set to PRIVATE! you dont even put yourself out there to be judged! theres a thing called HACKERS for a reason.... if you think your little private setting is going to stop them,once again you have another thing comin. why dont you try to put yourself out there and give it all you have instead of hiding behind some false METAL bullshit (not puttin you down because i love metal) but mabe you should think a little more before you write.we all want peace and understanding and you've done nothing to help me on the path!

Maybe its just me but i dont feel the need for private profiles.This is one of the only sites I know that you can be and express yourself without judgement from people. By having a private profile its like your above others. Its like your so special you have to seclude yourself and only let the "worthy" view your profile.I can't even believe its an option they provide for people to have.Whats the point?What do you have to hide? If theres any good reason to have a private profile on such a beautiful forum like this I'd liked to hear it!Peace&Love

i used dr bronners to wash my hair for about a year and had no issues. but then again i only wash my hair maybe 2 or 3 times a month.my guess is that you didnt rinse it out well enough.i suggest not washing your hair to much either. your hair creates its own natural oils that in my expierence work the best espically if you have a problem with a dryer scalp like i do. peace&happiness

good day all! i'm so glad a heady mama introduced me to this site i've been worrying about my dreads at the root for some time now and finally feel i can recieve some great feed back. i threw away the comb 4 1/2 years ago and have had no issues untill about a year ago. i started noticing some of my dreads at the root seem thinner then the used to be. it seems like when they grow out there going to be much skinner at the top then the rest of my dread. i kinda have a nervous habbit of over twisting them so i dont know if this is the problem or maybe its poor diet. any info on what i could do or what may be causing this issue would be great. i would just die if i lost a member of my family! peace&love

love and dreads

Life Issues Facing Dreads

My lady love loves my dreads and was supportive 4 1/2 years ago when i decided to throw away the comb! I too though have had people tell be I'd be much more attractive if i didnt have my dreads,body hair, or my piercings.But personality is everything in my eyes and your love for someone comes from that,not appearance.I must say though dready couples are the best! Great Post!
