So my girlfriend wants to comb out my dreads and re make them. And I have no clue how she is planning to do this. Considering that I'm not really willing to do this. She has this whole concept that my dreads arent that great looking because they don't look like the people in "korn's" manufactured dreads.
I like her alot but i like my dreads alot and aren't about to change for anyone. I don't really know if this is a question vs a rant. But I've had my dreads for almost 4 years and not about to cut them for somone ive only known 4 months.
Dandruff is cause by extrem heat or cold weather, they say that baking soda is one of the best agents in fighting dandruff. I would just use baking soda and acv for a while sounds like your using to many different things.
If your in a holding cell no they can't cut them. But if your going to a federal prison they will cut them because prisons teach conformity. Not only that but people can grab them and pull you into their fist. Prisons are full of fighting and when people can use them against you it's not really a fun matter.
When you rip do it when your hair is wet it will hurt a little less and it will be easier on your hair. You might be able to use a lil pair of scissors or a razor blade, but be VERY CAREFUL don't cut another dread, or split a dread to thin or cut yourself. just keep ripping them every other day so they don't grow together
Being as tho your dreads are just beginning, I would use baking soda anything else like bronners or regular shampoo might make your hair slippery and it will take longer to knot up. Your dreads will constantly get loose and tighter loose and tighter the more you do to try to make them look like dreads the longer it will take and the more manufactured it will look. happy dreading
I like protesting and all, but I still don't see the picture, I understand they're are protesting because they feel wallstreet is taking their money. And alot of people are homeless, jobless, with no medical or with little food. But you ever stop to ask yourself, why? are these people like that. Is it the government is it self choice, or are they just blaming the system for their falure in life. It does kind of sound like these people just want to be handed money. They will not change anything, do to the fact that sadly our government doesn't care about any of us.
This just wasted a minute of my life, but no the kid looks happy.
I don't think white people with dreads are ugly, but sometimes seeing a family with little kids or a baby at a festival is wrong. Or atleast these people with kids or a baby could be responsible and not do drugs. Its not fun looking a small kid in the face when you are faced. even tho the kids are to young to know what you are on or why there are thousands of crazy partying people
I'm kind of at odds with religion.
Like what if there is no god? like there really isn't any proof that he/she exist, but many ppl believe in god and there faith in god helps them through their life. I do believe
I was talking the other day to this girl that worships satan, and she was like I don't believe in god. So I was like how can you believe in satan when you don't believe in god, because satan really wouldn't exist if god doesnt exist.
I don't imagine god being this big dude looking down from the clouds, I just see god as this constant energy in all living things and the earth.
It's kind of sad that people get so much grief for just believing in what they want.
