religion.

History and Religious Significance

hello again troops. i was wondering, how many practising religions there are that involve the growing of dreadlocks? and whether the reasons for growing them differ from one religion to the other?

conditioner?

Dread Maintenance

i started the patience method about two years ago. theyre quite tight now and the faq section says conditioner is quite important for more mature locks. what do you people use for conditioner, and how often? DM

cut for work!?

Alternative Lifestyles and Subcultures

hey folks. if, at any point, your place of work decided your locks were getting too long and branded them too untidy for work environment, how would you fight your corner? would you just cut, or seek legal advice etc?

white tipped roots stickin out.

Dread Maintenance

hi. how many of you get your dreads sucking up loose hair so that the little white roots stick out the sides of your locks? i have quite a few, particularly near the base of the locks. i didnt think i would get this second time round because ive done no palm rolling. i began them by twist and rip, just enough to set the root then continued with patience. i began them just under two years ago. will these critters go away? does anyone else get these? do you get a lot of them? any feedback would be great. thanks guys. peace. DM
