help growing dread length

well it depends on how long it is, I've heard that hair will stop growing oncce it gets to a sertain length. But I'm guessing that would be really really long. I'd try the vitamin E. Or if you go to a health food store they prolly have a vitamin cocktail for hair and nails. I got one once because someone cut my hair REALLY REALLY short. Like to the point I went wig shopping. Anyways, and it seemed to help my hair grow a lot quicker than it usually does.EDITI didnt see the pic at first, I'd prolly go with the vitamins

It would totally take the wax out of your hair. And it would probably take the hair off your head aswell. I'd wash in some really really hot water, (as hot as you can stand, dont scold yourself) and then take a paper towel and wipe the wax out Terrence Major said:

Hair Ties?
Introduce Yourself
Hair ties are ok, but if they are two tight, they would probably hinder the locking process, because your hair has no movement, or if they are too tight they can start to cut into your dread causing some thin spots. But that is if they are really tight. If it concerns you alot, I'd just use a head band, or just tie your dreads back with your dreads

gotta love the loops and bumps!how did you lighten your hair? I'd love to lighten mine a bit because its so dark it looks like I just have really messy hair in most pics
