No, it wont hurt themI actually cant wait till mine grow that extra 2-3 inches they need to be able to tie em back, in Australia the 45-46 degree celsius days get too much, sweat dripped down the back of my neck almost every day last summer, and my dreads absorbed all of it, not cool

Trust me dude, my mother has tried em all, theres nothing that actually makes a significant difference, just time, tell your wife she needs to let them fade out naturally, once that happens theyre barely visible anyway

All of my ends are loose, everytime i try the clockwise rubbing on the palm trick to make em blunt, the hair just breaks apart and falls out of the dread, or they stay together for a while, and then when they get wet again, they fall outIts facked, so i just gave up and went on with the wispy ends

I couldnt be bothered readign this whole thing, but yes, the oils in your hands will make your dreads that teensy tiny bit oilier everytime you either palm roll or run your fingers through them i suppose
