Time sure flies when you're having fun! I can't believe I've had my dreads for two years... it seems just like yesterday that I was first posting on here about whether or not I had made the right choice, lol.

Thank you to everyone, SE, JazzyMomma, Jeff, Dana, Taye, Tara, Sunflower, Robyn, and Wind, for reassuring me and helping me feel less self conscious... yes, it is a cowlick but I so despise it. Lol, I suppose if it's not the wild loops and bumps it's suspected bald spots and awful parts... and just like with the loops and bumps I learned to love, hopefully I will learn to love this too. Thank you all.

So I have a natural part in my hair at the back of my head... it's genetically inherited (thanks Dad) and now my dreads have decided to go everywhere but there, leaving that part (and subsequently my scalp) very visible. So I'm thinking of solutions for being self-conscious about it... like merging two dreads so the part literally cannot be seen... I'll upload a photo and have you guys tell me what you think... and be honest. Brutal honesty is the best honesty and I'll love you forever for your opinions.
<--- See it? It's partially covered because I moved my hair in front of it to try and hide it. I already deleted the true picture of it. Okay, ready...set... go!

(Nicole: Yes'm, I just got the bar soap... I love it. They have many different products but I like simplicity. Oh yeah! They make this great hair mist but it's like everything else, some think it's great, others think it's not. I personally love the mist for spritzing in my hair when my scalp gets a bit cranky. )
