This was right before I started on mine . This is like my fourth set but I had always done maintainence and crocheted. Not with this set just a lil TnR and let them do their thangs .

first few weeks. Totally already in love with my babies.

At a crossroads with my almost 20-month-old dreadlocks

Dreadlocks Journey Emotional Support

I think your dreads look beautiful wild . There will be those times when you think about coping them. If your hubby doesn't like the way they feel in bed sleep with a tam on . Se is probably has the best suggestions of soaps for you. Loose hairs kinda come with dreads especially with suchstraight smooth hair embrace them . You think a kid pulling on dread hair hurts??? I combed my two year dreads out right after one and wow getting straight hair pulled after having dreads for so long ouch

Brick Laying Method when starting my Dreadlocks?

Dreading Methods

brick layer sections are good to make sure your dreads don't show much scalp on the back give a nice full look . Mine are majority brick layer but of course some are not all the same and I have a few lil sections that made themselves from loose hairs becoming baby dreads .it is okay if they aren't all the same size . unless you are looking for that all perfect same size look.
