Looks like my hair... i wish my hair was that longer... it would evolve fast like yours.
Keep it up man!
The bars leather a lot, so be careful, sometimes it feels like there's no leather, but if you look in the mirror, you'll see
Just gently ROLL the bar over your hair 2 times without making too much pression [yes, that's the way i do, and it lather very well], than gently massage your scalp where you can for 2 minutes, then rinse it a lot.
I take it and i love it!
My hair shrinks a lot, but now biotin is compensing the shrinking making my hair grow more and more.
I take from 5000 to 12.500mcg daly, my hair is a lot stronger than before.
I love it so much that i have bought biotin for 3 years!
they send their products worlwide... and you can get some shampoos from them too [they are pretty good and really help your hair to lock up faster]

Can i get the wax be gone in the uk?

you should remove the wax [if you used even once you have to remove it because it never washes out of hair with washing], then stop messing with your dreads... it will take a time, but they will repair itself alone.
it's like Ixchel said...
i have perfect hair for dreading [very curly and thick hair] and even having good hair, and doing everything alright my progress is slow... now at nearly 10 months the things are accelerating... but until last month i still had lots of sections of normal hair...
I remember that i saw a lot of timelines that in no time the hair of people was looking like dreads, and my curly thick hair was looking and feeling like normal hair for a long time [it still don't look like dreadlocks at all], but what can i do? Nothing... Only patience and time will do its job.
just be patient, the more you wait, the more proud in the end you will be.
sure. I can only separate with dry hair...
My dreads joined at the ends, at my sixth month of neglecting... i had trouble separating, i was not gentle and i broke lots of hair

Hair is stronger and thicker when wet with water, so it can take more "punishment" or stress while trying to separate.

Barrellady is right about getting it wet. Hair rips MUCH easier when it is wet. That's why most people do their separating when they are in the shower.
i don't think that sleeping at the backs could make it dread...
the back of my hair is all dreaded [it dreaded at 7 months], and the sides aren't [i sleep on the sides, and it looks like sleeping at the sides doesn't work at all]
are your hair at the back at least sectioned?
you can try sleeping with a tam and see how it affects the dreading there.
