Help with Dread Shampoo or Bars

Dread Products

Hello everyone, i have had my Dreadlocks for about 8 months now and i think their turning out nice. They have some weird bumps and hair sticking out in the middle of the dread which im trying to figure out how to fix. But i really came here to ask about shampoo!

I live in Denmark and i havne't found any easy way to obtain the awesome shampoo there is in the states. But now i have found this website that says they sell dreadlock shampoo! Though im not sure if theingredientsare healthy for my dreads and was wondering if you could maybe help?

Here is the homepage: http://dreadheads.dk/vask-og-pleje-2
I know it's in danish, but if you click the shampoo and scroll down there is a list ofingredients.

My second question is if i should use bars or liquid? What is the difference?

Hope someone has the time to help me, i know i am asking a lot!
Love Luca :)

While waiting for wax and shampoo...

dread wax and dread kits recovery

Hello there lovely dreadies, i began dreading 6 months ago (with wax) but was saved by this forum a couple months ago.
I ordered the Wax B-Gone and some shampoo from Buck County Soap thingy but that was in June... and i haven'treceivedthe stuff yet, though i can see that its clearly sent on PayPal, anyone else having trouble with this?

Besides i think that my dreads are real fluffy and there are anextremenumber of loose hairs (If you ask me)
Is there anything i should be doing to my dreads?
As of right now i just clean them in the shower every 2 days but i have never dared using shampoo yet, was kinda hoping the shampoo from Bucks would arrive, but should i just use normal soap then?

So the questions were:

  • Having troublereceivingorder from Buck County Soap (Im from Denmark)
  • My dreads a loose and fluffy, what to do? (Picture attached (im a roleplayer so they can look funny))
  • Am i cleaning them right?
  • Should i just buy normal soap since the soap from Bucks haven't arrived?

I hope you can help me, i love my dreads and i want to care for them so they can look their best! <3

How does that "Wrap" thingy work? I would like to try it with mine aswell, there are holes in them and they feel very loose.

WAX-B-GONE and the other stuff

Dread Products

It is still at a minimum of 40 US dollars... it just sucks that it has to cost this much money to save my dreads :S
And we don't have the Dawn Dish Soap in Denmark

WAX-B-GONE and the other stuff

Dread Products

Hello it is so that my friend and i have used Wax in our hair and need to get it removed, you alle recommended the Dreadlocks shampoo site and i love it, the only problem i have is that the delivery to Denmark cost more then the initial product does, and thats 51 US dollars... for shipping...
I was wondering if anyone in here know something or some kind way to get a cheaper shipping because we could really use the stuff...

Help! Save My Dreads

Hello, i was wondering what shampoo i should buy other than WAX-B-GONE? Maybe to wash my hair after the WAX-B-GONE? I have read different places that you also use another shampoo from "Dreadlockshampoo" but you never mention which one! Thanks ^^
