its wild how much stronger natural knots are then artificially made knots are. when i say artificially made i mean backcombed/crocheted. i have backcombed dreadlocks and my new growth that had dreaded up is so much stronger than what i backcombed. its wild!
thanks! for how horrible they were backcombed i am so happy with them. like i said. just glad i ran into this site to set me straight and away from crochet hook and other maintenance
yea its only when i tilt my head forward a little hahah. its getting much better though!

is it odd that on some of my dreadies the new growth is dreading in like a spiral dread? i dont crochet it or anything but it come in as like a twist haha. its only on like 2 or 3 of them. i dont really mind it cause its just something a little different than the normal dread look.
so a good amount of my tips are blunted but still have hairs coming out the end. is there a way to unblunt them? i kind of want my wispy tips back. also my dreads are pretty short so having the wispy tips will help me get a little length back hahah
i got it from walmart. it is called tea tree shampoo special
so for my whole dreadlock journey i have been doing the BS wash and have been completely fine with that. but today it my dreads 10 week so i thought i would give it a go with a shampoo wash... holy cow!

the scent and the feeling that i have now is so great! while in the shower my scalp felt as if it was finally breathing again. it was like an icy-hot was on my head. it would get a little warm but then it would breath and cool off. it was awesome!
my dreads were horribly backcombed i feel but i am sticking with it and have seen so much progress.
