Help and advice please for new dreads I'm sooooo confused!!!!

Dread Maintenance

First of your dreads are not gonna fall out! lolI do support putting down the crochet needle<<Never pick it up again. Second I just tried the Baking Soda andwater to wash my dreads! AWESOME COMBO! Its all you need..Second you can use like rose water or like lavendar all nautural to give it scents..Some people use Sea salt sometime as a Loc tightner also.Give those products you are currently using to friends..your locs don't need anything but love and the natural products and not commercial ones! The very simple houshold products work just fine..>>THEY WORK!!!

Good luck on your journey!!! Blessssssssssssss

Hi soaring eagle thanks! When I said split I meant like imagine a tree limb with branches..I have a few that are growing limbs! Anyway I tried the baking soda and water for myhair as suggested.. I was impressed it tingled like it felt clean my scalp too. Although I would like to add a little rose water aftewards to give it a little scent...its all natural...what do you think?

Ok Really no working out everday? I'm trying to lose the winter thickness!!! hahahahah summer is coming..lol...ok3 days it is!

Regret for interlocking and picking with my locs

Saved Dreads Success Stories

Really hoping I have not came to far to correct my mistake.I have my locs for 3 yrs... I am just now learning that dreads are to be washed and pulled apart only!!!!! I made the mistake over the last couple of yrs and start interlocking. I haven't had any problems just don't like that pattern that it makes with dreads..I use to let it grow about 2 inches then interlock>>WHAT A BIG FUCK UP!!! BIG MISTAKE DON'T TWIST DON'T INTERLOCK YOU DON'T NEED IT!! JUST LET IT BE!I wanted my hair to look like Bob Marleys, thick flowing, but everyones locs have there journey. My dreads are sort of small, but they would be alot thicker if I hadn't been messing with it>>>just realizing my mistake. So I stoped picking with it and what do you know within in 3 weeks my hair started to puff my scalp started to close because of all the loose hairs, all I had to do was just keep them from each other(pulled apart)

I can't believe all the wasted time trying totame my hair to do something it already knows how to do on it's on.
