When I feel my dreads they sound like sand paper rubbing together.I wash my hair weekly and moisturize my hair daily.Mind you it is my dreads not my scalp. I have no dandruff or flakes and no itching.. I usually use Jamaican Mango&Lime Cactus grow treatment along with the leave in moisturizer but haven't in a few months.. any suggestions PLEASE HELP.. thank you

whew after seeing this post I am happy that I stopped re-twisting my dreads bi-weekly as recommended.. I have been growing for a 1yr and 1/2 and notice 8 months into that is was weakening my hair... this is scary thank you for posting this.. now I have proof to share with others that re-twisting is ridiculous and can cause a great deal of damage.. if i do re-twist my hair it is once every few months just so I can see progress since my hair is naturally curly its hard to see the growth,, Thank you again for posting this,

The first pic is from July 2010 the last time I seen my loose hair
The second is the first day I had gotten my hair twisted to start my journey Aug 2010
The third is was taken a week ago.. i LOVE MY DREADS
