Dying dreads.

Introduce Yourself

so i've only dyed my dreads twice and i want to go back to my regular hair, no more bleach, or red and yellows, just my own hair. I've seen my hair go back to its natural color the last time I dyed it. Is there a better way than just waiting and washing to get the color out? is there some kind of soap for this?

i just dyed my dreads for the first time, and your right it does get dry, so i use Organic root stimulator {olive oil} its a nourishing sheen spray, it really helps :]

How do u "wear" ur dreadlocks?

this picture right here is pretty old, but i wear my hair like this once in a while :] my new dyed hair is on the top, i mostly have my hair like that...

also you can't lump black people into one group and say they're all racist, thats not the case, im not racist in any way, i was taught to love every human equally no matter what color their skin is, we're all human beings, pigment in your skin doesn't make anyone any less human...nor does it mean a race has 1 way of thinking. Just hold onto the good comments and let go of the bad comments.

i dont think it's some "african americans" i think its just ignorant people, not all people will like your hair...i get nice comments on my hair everyday, and i get bad comments some days...in the end its what you think of your hair, and feeling comfotable with your hair. Also no one can actually own a style because along with the Jamaican culture native americans have done it too, and alot of other cultures. Dont worry you don't have to satisfy people you don't know, your dreading your hair to satisfy yourself, and only yourself, dont take the negative comments people say seriously, people aren't all alike some may like your hair and some won't people all have different opinions.

yea same here, people need to ask first thats like eating somebody's food then asking if they want it. I've gone through this alot...and its awkward for me because i'm just like wide eyed and looking around like "STOOOOOOOOPPPPPP SO I CAN GOOOOOOOOOO" but there are other situations where people compliment my hair and then ask before touching, and i'm pleased whenn they do that first :]

okay your comment made my day XD yea, that sucks,i'm used to it though, i've been called every name in the book, for years, people are so cruel nowadays...its like people have no home training anymore :o but the worst name i was called was "Mop Head" in the 6th grade...i was sooooo pissed off that day but i made it up to the girl that called me that, by calling her an fat ass mulan monkey :] ikr kind of racist, but hey i was like 11 or 12 lol

well, geez i didnt want to be called a guy, which im not. Bob Marley is great and all but still, im not a guy, and we have a passenger next to us, so she turned on the music...and yes it was pretty, idk i thought i'd just add that XD and im glad that your wrries are washed away for the day. :]

1. somebody shout Bob Marley at you .....don't take that as an insult. He was an incredible man and musicain. Take it as a compliment.

2. Learning to drive .. you should know better and keep yr music low so you can hear compliments being shouted and you and know by the sound of the engine to change gear

and 3. she was growing 1 dread and it looked beautiful. Hahahaha
