Dr. Woods Shampoo?!?!?!?

Introduce Yourself

I read over the ingredients, I'm not sure about new dreads, but it should do well on established locks. The coconut oil should work better for those with hard water also. It's definately worth a try, because if it doesn't work well on your dreads, it would make a great body wash.

Bonus for dreadies...they add sea salt.

Natural locks/twist & rip/backcoming/WTF

Introduce Yourself

yep, drop the tam...you might want to drop the Dr. Bronners too. It isn't right for everyone, depending on your hair and your water. Try a few weeks of just the baking soda washes, see what happens...

Organic Root Stimulator Products

Dread Products

i'm not sure why you couldn't 'freshen' with a witch hazel/essential oil mix after some thought...even the vodka formula i've seen used as a root stimulator actually likely works because it would lift the scalp's production of sebum...just sharing the thoughts that hit later...

Organic Root Stimulator Products

Dread Products

i found an ingredient list on another site, most of those do have way too much oil for dreads. i supposed they'd work for braids just fine, or even really corse ethnic dreads if we're talking only one of the products at a time.

with the powders it would seem hard to shake out the excess...
