I need this product NOW!!! I haven't combed since June 17 and still no dreads. In fact, I came here today to try and figure out what I might be doing wrong. I've tried to be patient, but man, this is ridiculous to have nothing yet.

dreadlockshampoo.com liquid lockin up tightening shampoo review

Dread Products

whats it called?

Heather said:

i was sent a sample of the liquid as well and i like it much better than the bars. the bars left my hair too soft and unknotted. the liquid is easier to rinse out and i don't have to use much to get my hair clean. i actually just add a tbs or so to a squeeze bottle of water and then squirt it directly on my scalp like i do when i use regular shampoo. i don't use this every time i wash because its a little bottle and i'm trying to make it last until i can order more. plus i have a shampoo that i really like that removes any build up and its helping to alleviate my dry, flaking scalp so i alternate.

try to find handmade natural soaps around your community. I found a great place near me called Lotus Leaf Health Market and they had shelves of soaps & essential oils. I bought a bar called "Garden Gate" the ingredients are: saponified oils of soybean, olive, coconut & shea butter. Essential oils: spearmint, peppermint, lavender, rosemary

in our house we have white cookingwine, it is a beer so its residue free but i havent tried it yet.

Haha how strange, I was just wondering if I could substitute white vinegar for acv. Is the cocoa butter necessary for this or will the white vinegar and oils work ok? I only ask as I have no money to purchase the extra ingredients with, and really want to do the rinse asap.

Also, the only oil I have is lavender, but I was wondering, if I made a super strength tea out of my dried herbs, and then drained it and added to the water, would that be cool?I vaguely remember rinsing my dreads with a herb tea that i'd made and leave to steep until it cooled. Felt lovely pouring it over my head, and smelt pretty nice too.
