man its ok. cept for them rubber bands stop using them lol. i have dandruff too, and the only thing remaining constant is my environment, ive changed many things to try and rid myself of it. but now i view it as all the little things in life that i need to let go of and accept. you can manage it, trust me if i can so can you

eh, depends, are they stil;l forming and sectioning? or have they already knotted up? what i would do if still forming is run and let em be FREE they form and section with movement so...but if knotted some hair ties would be alright me thinks.
yes i love this effect to be honest! i also think that certain oils like rosemary can lighten a tad over time too. but this makes for an interesting mane ill tell ya that!~

There is no need at all to ever go to a loctician. If you wanted to get them started then fine, but there is absolutely NO reason to go back. Dreadlocks take time and patience, and your own brand of personal love. Wash them as often as your scalp tells you too. If you feel a bad its sesh coming on then wash. use some essential oils to relieve it like rosemary, or lavander. Aloe can also be applied directy to an itchy spot on your scalp to relieve the itch.

When I first began letting my hair go like the first or second night I had a dream where I was simply in the presence of a beautiful goddess with locks. No words were said, just being. Her presence was sooo comforting to say the least. Today I still think back on that dream of just being. Its also helped me calm down whenever I used to freak out about my locks 
Hello, I have had only a few dreadlock dreams that i can recall, have you had any that really spoke to you?
Just last night I had a wonderful dream where I was conversing with what felt like an old soul, a wise one who was Rastafarii. Though my recolection is hazey at best I remember feeling peace and love, we were laughing through our conversation and having a great time. The one thing that I can recall him telling me is that they do not ever cut their locks, nor do they ever shave their beards. These appear to be affirmations of some kind because I have been thinking about it for a while.
But recalling dread dreams brings instant joy <3
