most i would do when i started natural was pat it down, i never ran, or tried not to at least, my fingers throguh my hair untill after a year...now i do it all the time lol. im stoked for your journey brother, its gonna be great 
also yeah just stick to washing your scalp if you use the soaps. otherwise stick with the baking soda wash it is no touch washing so its great for baby dreads.
Dreads look messy? Want them to be neater.

there is no part Alex. simply be. your hair knows what to do, without your interference cept separating. locking ones hair can be a fullfilling experience, it is a beautiful BROAD process of letting go.

i admire you sister ive been contemplating going outside to the parks for my sessions, but have come to practice at anytime of day no matter where i happen to find myself being but tolerating 5 degrees is something to be proud of.

yeah man. i have only found that more and more i am just falling into the life ive always wanted to lead. i started the e cigs so i havent technically quit yet. i havent had a phone in couple months, still cary it with me for music purposes but thats it. kinda off grid i guess. although having a landline would be ideal i think. i to have steped further away from using products and am more concious of the food i eat. all good changes i might add.
