So i want to start a timeline. Its really early on but I will update as things go.
I have curly hair. Pretty thick.I shaved my head 2 years ago just being crazy so this has been growth over the past 2 years and I have been wanting to dreadlock it for some time. So heres so me pics of 2 weeks in 
So I have reached my 1 month mark. All neglect. I wasnt planning on posting so soon but I feel like I have had some decent progress. Lots of knots! So heres my 1 month pictures!
So thats my 1 month update! I will be back in a month unless something exciting happens before then

This is true. Lifestyles that involve Dominate/submissive relations do have their fair share of those who prey on newbies or emotionally unstable individuals. I have experienced it when first entering the lifestyle. Then I made friends with the local community leaders and they are my best friends and we all look out for the newbies now. Live and learn I suppose.
There are some types of rigging where the Top will tie the rope bottoms hair, say for example, to her/his feet in a predicament tie that when he/she moved it would pull her hair/head back. These are examples of what I mean by rope on hair.
I tend to lean more towards the masochism which would not involve my hair however a good friend of mine who is a serious rope bottom (does paid gigs are clubs as well as for fun) is considering growing dreadlocks and asked me about hair tie with dreadlocks. I had no answer lol. Might have to be a trial and error experience.

I am curious to see if anyone here is active within the BDSM community? I hope that this is not considered inappropriate seeing as I am not referring to swinging or sexual activities per say but more like rope rigging, fire cupping, sadomasochism type deal.
More specifically if having dreadlocks interferes with certain rope ties? Can you still do hair ties or is it damaging to your hair? Also have the people been accepting?
So far my local community has been quite accepting of my decision to dreadlock my hair. I am VERY early in the process and was just curious if anyone else here had experience?

New and Restarting!

So this is my first post.
I am restarting my hair. I did the twist and rip method on my hair a month and maybe like a week ago. I didnt really section my hair ( because i break all the rules lol) and just kinda randomly grabbed. I thought I did ok on it but its one month in and I REALLY wish I had found this site BEFORE i started my hair.
I was under the impression that with free form you had NO control over your sectioning. So I twisted and ripped in the hopes of having some sense of sectioning. Fail lol. So today I decided to take them out. I sat and removed them and i am going to free form it.
I was already neglecting my twist and rips so I am pretty much in the mind set of messy bed head ready anyways.
I have curly hair naturally that I think is decent thickness. So excited to start these out the natural way and watch my hair do its own thing. Cant wait to see how it sections itself and what not. I had 34 forced and slightly painful twist and rips. Should be interesting!
Thanks for hearing me ramble. Just thought I would share considering I have been lurking on the site for about 3 weeks now lol.
