Anyone tried Dread Fusion shampoo?

Dread Products

I would advise you to steer clear of knotty boy, it's rather frowned upon by most! Do some reading on this site and you'll find out a lot about scam websites like knotty boy and similar sites, pushing lies to sell their product, and take advantage of the uneducated new dreadheads (like myself, I was not too far from buying one of their useless wasteful dread locking kits before I found this wonderful website!)

Try this website out http://dreadlockshampoo.com/ , I purchased both the Himalayan Sea Salt Spray, as well as a bar of dragons blood scented dread shampoo, and it promptly arrived at my home within 3 days, and the product is fantastic!

Natural Shampoo

Dread Maintenance

I second CoriElaine's reply! dreadlocksshampoo.com is fantastic, I love the dragons blood scented shampoo bar (It smells like the dragons blood incense). They were very prompt in delivering the product to my house, and the product itself was great! Plus they threw in a free sample of their spearmint scented shampoo! C:

dreadlockssite needs your help and donations for a special cause

General Talk

I'll definitely be donating as soon as I get my next paycheck and cover a few bills. I love this website and what it is doing. I hope that all who enjoy the site and are able will donate, because this is a serious cause in my opinion, we need to keep the corporate world from exploiting dreadlocks as a means to acquire a little more currency!

Social Work

dreads jobs employment issues

I would really hope it wouldn't be a problem, I'm lucky to have open minded and tolerant enough supervisors where I work that they don't mind, especially with mine going only on week 2, so as of right now, I can look pretty grungey, but I love it, and nobody seems to mind.

Just try to keep a really good work ethic, appear professional, and be prompt, and always excel and shoot for higher goals than they expect of you. Shouldn't be a problem, hope I could hep a little bit! I'm no wise person but I thought I might give it a shot!

p.s. I don't work in social work, but I do work in a lot of face to face customer service. Also, I do know a lady who has dreads at the local Human Resource Center... not sure if that counts as social work or not but hey she's got a professional position!

-Be easy, Caleb

Suffering, the one thing that we all have in common.

History and Religious Significance

Hello my dread passionate friends! I was doing some reading earlier about Buddhism, and I read the writings of a famous buddhist who's name escapes me as of right now. Anyway, he was talking about a very eye opening subject and I thought some of you who may be going through some hard times might enjoy the idea, it certainly helped me a lot.

In the writings, he spoke of suffering. Suffering, in my opinion is the one thing that every single human being on the planet earth has in common. No matter what level of suffering it may be, it is inevitably there. If you think of it this way, it can help you to understand the people around you a little better.

If opinions of things such as religion, politics, war, etc. are brought up, you often find the situation can get heated, and cause fights and arguments. Bring up the suffering of other people, and it most often brings forth a man (or woman's) more compassionate tendencies.

Remember:

Suffering does in fact exist

Suffering does in fact have meaning

There is a path to the end of suffering

Suffering will end

Thank's for sparing some time to read, I hope you learned a little something or at least enjoyed it, by no means am I an expert of Buddhism, but I certainly found this idea very intriguing!

Introduction! I'd like to let everybody here on dreadlockssite to know a little about myself!

Introduce Yourself

Greetings everybody! My name is Caleb William Hart, I live in Hubert, North Carolina. I recently made the decision to begin my dread journey. I am 19 years old, and going through kind of a self discovery stage. I love going outside and enjoying nature as much as I can. I go surfing when I feel like it, hangout with friends when I feel like it, and enjoy some of the natural herbal escapes produced by the fine lady known as mother nature. I'm a pretty easy going guy, shy at times. I always love to keep an open mind to other cultures and traditions, as I feel they all have something to teach. Send me some friend requests if you'd like! I'd like to get more engaged in the dreadlock community, the people here seem to be very helpful and friendly, as well as good natured and relaxed. If you'd like to follow my dread journey and see how it develops over the next couple of years add me on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/caleb.hart.9

Help me with my oily hair!

General Questions

And hey SE I have another question I was hoping you could answer for me, being so early on in the dread process (only about 5 days or so) should I try to keep my hair dry since I shower daily? I haven't been shampooing it or anything, just cleaning my body, but I have been letting the water run through it. Also, I tend to shake my hair dry, kind of like a dog, after I get out of the shower, will this affect the process at all, like should I just sit outside and let it air dry?

u can use it every 3 days and if yoir oily skip the acv for a week or 2 you'll make your hair less acidic therefore less oily

once it shifts from oily to dry slowly add acv in a very weak state
