dreading loved ones hair into my own?

Dreading Methods

Wow sorry for such a late reply, I just now saw this.

Well soaring eagle said that you could just TnR the new hair in, I can kinda see how this works but I'm not entirely sure.

The way I've seen the extensions be put in is by first taking the hair you plan on putting in, dread it up with whatever method you prefer, and then using a looseish end to crochet it onto the end of your locs.

If you go on youtube and search dreadlock extensions how to or something along the lines of that I'm sure you'll find a couple vids to help you.

I dont see why not, people do stuff like that all the tims. Just get them to cut whatever hair off and then dread it up yourself and attach it like you would for an extension onto the ends of your dreads. I'm sure theres a video on youtube for how to attach it. Might involve some crocheting tho :/

Dedciding to dread!

Introduce Yourself

dreads can look good on anyone, no matter the color or the length of the hair. You just need to have that confidence and own them! Sure you might get some weird looks and sometimes rude comments but don't let that affect you. If people see that your confident in yourself it could change their way of viewing you.

I think what shes inferring to is a lot of African Americans seem to judge people with dreads who aren't black, I am not saying all. I myself live in Florida and the only negative looks and comments I've gotten have been by people of color :/ And depending where you live a lot of the older people here are very conservative (at least in my town) and seem to think dreads are disgusting.I hope this doesn't come off prejudice or anything, its just my view of what I've been through living in FL being half white with dreads.

What are you talking about? I live in Florida and my dreads are fine. Fuck what other people think, its your hair, your choice. Asking people if you would look good with them is kind of sad.
