Southern California. 30 minutes from LA. I mean don't get me wrong. I have bear mountain and the beach both 30 minutes away. but I'd trade the beach for more pow.

if I were you I would settle somewhere more north. I'm like 40 minutes from big bear so it's cool and all but off season I don't really like the area. up north seems like it would be amazing. I usually go up to mammoth every winter and I never want to leave.

HELP! How many dreads should I have toget the "best dreads"?

idk I started with 20something and ended with this. I fought for a while to keep them separated. but I figured it's what my mane wanted to do.if I don't have to worry about drying tell the thickness of my wrist I have some years to go. my thickest is only like 2 or 3 fingers.

how many do you want?? I think that's a personal opinion. I personally only have like 17 dreads. and there's like 4 starting to stick together. I personally like a low amount of thick dreads.

it all depends on your hair type. but 2 months is really nothing. I wear beanies almost 24/7. it rare my mane is ever down. it seemed to help my hair come together.

I wouldn't cut it. I personally don't like short dreads. I grew my hair out for like 5 years before I started to dread it. I wish I would have started a little sooner than 5 years, my hair was about at my waist. but I've had my dreads for a little over a year an a half and they have matured pretty fast in my opinion.
