Thanks lunchbox (love the name btw)! Yea I'm loving just letting them be, so many people laugh or say, wow they look rough or crazy but I really enjoy that they struggle to accept, I used to have a big thing about what people think of me so it's a personal lesson for me to not care :)Yoga ey? No I have not thought about Jesus teachings as yoga. I have done a little yoga however, great for the body but I simply can't get my personality round yoga! I'm fasted paced and like action! But I love the meditation side of it, Jesus himself spent much time praying and on hilltops I imagine being silent with God. At least when he wasn't teaching!Have you considered it?

General Questions

thanks very much for the replies! really helpful and encouraging :) one other question I had was about the roots... as you can kinda see in the photo above the roots are very long (around2-3 inches). Now I know they are still new at only 3 weeks old but Im wondering as the tips and main body of most dreads are fairly hard and seem pretty knotted, will the roots stay that long now? I hope not, Id really like to only have about an inch of loose hair coz my dreads are short at the moment!Rebel your dreads are awesome, as are yours Taye. nice and long too!

Sectioning hair and huge dreads...

General Questions

Hey so this is my first post so first off, thanks SO much for this wonderful, honest forum :)
Second is my question, I recently got dreads (2 weeks). I know dreads expand a little as they mature. I was wondering if anyone has any photos or info on sectioned hair that was 2 inches. I know it will be huge, it is actually what I wanted :) so I just can't seem to find any one else who either has them or wants huge fat dreads!

Well thanks for your time and hope to get to know some of u along my journey!
