Hello Fire Dancer. I noticed you were on the dreaded veterens group. i was thinking about joining the Navy and i was wondering if (this might be a stupid question) i would have to say goodbye to my dreadies in order to enlist.

just rinse or wash after to get the chlorine out chlorines alkaline though so doing a baking soda soak will make the hair extremely alkaline instread just wash with soap then do a vinager soak (diluted ofcourse) to counteract the chlorines effects

anything u do to the roots weajkens the rioots and halts dreading u never want to do nothing to the roots ever leave em alone they take care of themselves but they tajke tiime

they will have to be loose for months to tighten up u cannot do anything to the roots

they must be left alone only seperared

they will have alot of looseness till they get tight thats normal and necasary itf u remove that looseness u renmove the space they need to move and dread..so u replace dreading with fiorced knotting that makes themweak and often break..

the entire dread depends on strong undamaged roots

so leave them alone!!
