Dude, you're coming along on your journey! Length would help though but I also have short hair! Dreads don't happen over night! I wouldn't end you journey what, 5 months in? Just because you're not noticing any progress doesn't mean it's not happening! That's just a stage and considering your short hair! Stop looking in a mirror looking for progress! Take those mirrors down or cover them up for about 3-5 months and then see if you have any progress!
