I do have dread secrets.. originally i did light backcombing but they didnt seem to be taking soIused rubberbands (not good) This is a quick way to create the illusion of dreads, but I dont recomend it at all. when I took out the bands I had been using organic soap to dry my hair out, so most of them stayed. then i discovered dr bronners and wished i had started them with just that. Most of my dreads are crazy loopy like natural dreads but I wish they were all free forming
Welcome. But I have to warn you that crocheting is the most damaging thing that can be done to locks. It does nothing but destroy them. With every time you tick a needle through your hair, you are breaking hundreds of hairs. This weakens your locks and can actually make them snap off in places and even at the root, leaving a bald spot
