Actually, they've received the "ax" as of now. I used some creme that SE said was bad, and since It was only a day or so I decided to cut my losses and start off fresh and clean. Will probably upload a pic of what they looked like before they were disbanded.
No problem. I've definitely made my share of mistakes. I TnR'd a few, Back combed a few, Interlocked one or 2. And obviously I palm rolled. I like to help from experience. If they weren't as old as they are, I'd start all over completely naturally
Welcome. The Dread butta is not going to make your locks healthy, though. It'll gunk them up and make them feel silky and healthy because of the residue it leaves. But it is really bad for locks. Just the fact that it leaves a residue, is terrible for locks.
And don't bother palm rolling. It only does 1 of 2 things. If you do it sparingly and gently, it'll do absolutely nothing but make them look neat for a few hours. But it won' create any lasting knots. If you do it regularly and hard enough to create lasting knots, it will completely wreak havoc on your locks. the butta is conditioning and will preveb-nt them d=from dreading u dont want to use that ever when mature theres way better things to use but use that now antd they are likelyto fall apart in a hurry
it was only developped to hide the waxy stickiness just more gunk you dont want or need
if you want soft healthy and awesome smelling dreads just use the soaps from www.dreadlockshampoo.com the goddess will make u feel like your in dready heaven
Welcome. But the ingredients in that gel aren't good for locks. In fact, some are toxic. DMDM hydantoin has formaldehyde in it. EDTA is toxic. The ther ingredients ar very questionable. Some probably leave residue in your hair, which build up over time and increase the risk of mold and mildew growing.
There's no reason to ever use a gel on your hair. Dreadlocks need to move around freely to lock. Gels keep loops from forming

no take the rubber bands out they can cause so many issues its hard to remember them all
