Thanks everyone. I love them. They were definitely a lesson in patience. And, I learned to crochet tams for the first year when they were just a tangled mess!

CoriElaine ~ Root ripping is keeping them separated when they are young. Not knowing that it needed to be done resulted in my first set being cut out because they turned into one giant dread that was eating my head!SE ~ Yes...I am sorry to say that, before I found you and your wealth of information, I fell victim to Dreadhead HQ. Spray, wax, special comb and all. They were also cut out. All of it left my hair different lengths and in pretty bad shape. Luckily, my hair grows pretty fast So one day I just decided to stop combing and this is the result! :o)
