I have now been doing weekly sea salt treatments using a spray bottle for a couple of weeks now, it seems to be really helping my roots lock up. Attached is a current picture of the progress. On top of that, I have been washing my hair roughly every two-three days, although lately it's been every 2, I am wondering is that it too frequently to wash my dreads? I am making sure that they get properly dry afterwards. My other question is how much longer should I be using the sea salt spray? As I am thinking I probably shouldn't be using it for an indefinite period.
nah just use it a few more weeks, take a lil break then use every now and then
Ok, I haven't used it yet this week, so I guess I'll use it this week and about 2 more weeks (to get up to the few more weeks you mentioned) then switch to using it every now and then as you suggested.
So as far as my current washing routine goes, that's fine too?
As it stands now I'm considering reducing my washing schedule after I finish the current bottle of shampoo I've been working through.
every 2 days is more then you really need but isn't bad at all either
i wouldn't reduce it a whole lot
Most of the time it's every 3 days... but what amount would you suggest when you say reducing it by a whole lot?
I'm thinking next week, I will go back down to washing twice a week again.
